Collaborating with Microsoft for Kusto Detective Agency Game Trailer

The Igloo team is delighted to announce our collaboration with Microsoft on the creation of a trailer for their Kusto Detective Agency game. Kusto Detective Agency is an interactive experience whose aim is to assist developers in learning the Kusto Query Language (KQL). The game presents a series of challenges to help developers learn the language through an engaging and charming detective story, earning new badges with each completed case.

We’re delighted to have worked with Microsoft to craft this engaging trailer. After much contemplation, we settled on creating a 2D animated trailer inspired by classic detective stories. The accompanying voiceover reinforced the hard-boiled detective theme we were aiming to realize. The piece’s limited color palette was a conscious decision on our part so that we could come up with several aesthetically pleasing ideas using three to four different colors, before settling on the final visual elements.

We’re thrilled to have had the opportunity to collaborate with Microsoft on this project and we couldn’t be happier with the reception to our game trailer for Kusto Detective Agency.
